A table tennis life
Alberto was born in the city of Guayaquil, Ecuador. He was part of the Salesianos club since he was 7 years old, and soon became a reference for local and national table tennis. After several national and international youth titles, he was recruited by the Bayard Argentan club in France, his first experience as a professional table tennis player.
